Tapestry UU members participated in California Cleanup Day on September 18, 2021. We joined with the City of Aliso Viejo and Troop 700 Boy Scouts to clean up trash along Aliso Creek, starting from the Aliso Viejo Ranch.

The City reports that there were 134 volunteers who participated and more than 500 pounds of trash and recyclable materials that were collected from the Aliso Creek Trails and surrounding areas! These efforts make a big difference in preventing trash from entering our stormwater systems and polluting our coast and ocean.
