Membership Committee/Greeters
Wanted friendly, gregarious people to greet one Sunday each month. Duties include:
- Helps visitors complete information sheets and discusses information about Tapestry
- Introduces visitor to other Tapestry members
- Records attendance of each service

Publicity Committee Chairperson
- Provides/publishes information in the local community and media about Tapestry ongoing activities, services and special events.
- Writes and distributes news/press releases
- Stays in touch with various areas of congregational life and publicizes the ones that seem to merit it in various formats (Tapestry CommUUnique, news releases to media, posters and flyers, e-mail lists, websites, local calendars, bulletin boards, notices to other UU churches in the area, etc.)
- Plans occasional events to achieve publicity for the congregation

for a more thorough description of the job duties. Orders, sells, and maintains records of scrip or gift cards in order to raise funds for
the Tapestry operation budget.

Volunteer Opportunities - Which One Will You Do?!?!
Other than Rev. Rahnema, our Director of Religious Exploration, and Office Administrator our programs are run entirely run by volunteers! There’s a lot to accomplish…that’s where you come into the picture!!
We need your talent to keep our church the vibrant and growing spiritual home that it is. We’re an interdependent web, where each strand, each connector, each person makes all the difference.
