Register for eScrip

Did you know you can make money for your church just by using your credit cards? You can. But before you say “Charge It,” there’s one thing you have to do—register your credit cards with the eScrip program.

In order to register your cards, you must have either a Von’s or Pavilion’s grocery club card. With one of these club cards, you can then register your credit cards and any time you charge something at a participating merchant, Tapestry will get a percentage of the sale. Follow these steps to register your cards:

1)      Go to the eScrip web site and click on the Sign Up - It's Free! link:

2)At the next screen, either:

• click the Group ID button and enter our group ID # 3813130 into the box OR

• click the Group Name button and enter the following text exactly as shown (without the quotation marks): "UUC of South County"

3) Click the Search button. The search results will show a blue "UUC of South County" link. Click on this link and then click the Next button to proceed to the next step.

4)Fill out the personal information (name, address, etc.) on the next screen; then click the Next button.

5)Choose either Von’s or Pavilion’s on the next screen and enter the number of your grocery club card. Then click Next:

6) On the next screen enter the Card Type, Card Numbers and Expiration Dates of cards that you use regularly:

7)If you have a Chevron card, register it on the next screen. If not, just click Next.

8)On the next page, confirm that all the information you entered was correct and click Confirm. Finally, click the Create your personal password link and enter a password.

If you want to know which merchants participate in the program, go to the eScrip site and download the Current Merchant List. (You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the list. If you don’t have it, you can download it for free from the Adobe web site.)
